At JSC Kaisiadoriu Paukstynas, the reliability of chicken products delivered to consumers is guaranteed by the effective quality control system and the progress in production technologies.


JSC Kaisiadoriu Paukstynas controls quality and food safety with standards, which cover the entire company's food production chain:

  • Food safety management systems - Requirements for any organization in the food chain (ISO 22000:2005);
  • Global Standard for Food Safety, Issue 5 (BRC).

In 2009, the company implemented ISO 22000:2005 standard, which controls every step in the process of rearing the breeding flock, incubation of broiler chickens, to their growing:

- Assessment of potential risks and provision of means for their control;

- Microbiological tests of each batch of feed, parent flocks of birds, breeding eggs, hatched and reared chickens, thus ensuring the quality of raw material delivered for the chicken meat processing.


In 2006, the company introduced Global Standard for Food Safety, the food safety standard of the British Retailers Consortium (BRC), which high requirements are annually certified by the audit company Bureau Vertitas Certification.
According to this standard, from the food safety point of view, the managed processes include poultry slaughtering, cutting, packaging, freezer storage and delivery to customers.


Certified laboratory of the company and accredited laboratories in the country carry out the testing of raw materials and products in each batch, so that the quality of chicken delivered for consumers is verified several times.
